* Remember, calling the company who is advertising the property can end up costing you Thousands of Dollars because they are focused on SELLING you a home. Most home buyers want to work with someone to help them BUY a home. Bookmark this page and call us when you are ready to start buying a home!

Mortgage Companies:*

Would you believe instant loan approval over the internet? http://www.iqualify.com/ (You probably shouldn't believe it but it is a goal.)

The nations largest mortgage lender Countrywide Funding

Another national lender KeyStrokebank

* The most critical choice is to get a lender who is both able and motivated to get the job done! Once you have a number of lenders who are motivated and competent, then you can start looking closely at rates and fees.

As full time buyer's agents we have leverage with lenders that you do not because you walk into a lender as an individual buyer.

Home inspection Links*

Michigan's largest inspection company http://www.american-inspection.com/ of course you may not want to use the largest...

The standard setting organization for home inspectors is The American Society of Home Inspectors of ASHI. This link will connect you to the web site for the great lakes region http://www.ashi-glc.com

Another large inspection company is http://www.newcomersinspection.com

A smaller local firm has a small page at http://www.boardplace.com/inspector1/corex/index.html

*As luck should have it the inspection companies who have web sites tend to be more focused on the real estate agent's needs than the home buyer's needs. Our office rarely uses any of these companies for this reason. Some of these companies are not even ASHI members. The American Society of Home Inspectors is the standard setting organization for home inspection companies.

If you want the best inspection for your needs, talk to a full time buyer's agent and get their recommendation.
